Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy holds that we are intricately linked to each other and our environment and that all people seek balance and growth. 

From this perspective Gestalt therapy strives to cultivate personal empowerment through the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist/counsellor. This process supports building self-awareness and capacity to live in the moment, by cultivating a more diverse range of choices in day to day living with oneself, others and the environment we live in.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a potent psychological method for relieving chronic trauma symptoms and chronic stress resulting in increased vitality and capacity to engage in life.

Whether it is through shock trauma, such as accidents or assault, and/or developmental trauma that occurred in childhood SE can help to remove the by-products of unresolved trauma such as anxiety, depression, physical ailments and phobias.
